About High Lodge
High Lodge is a family run business. As well as the founders, John and Sally Bidwell, both daughters also work in the business. Jane Bidwell, General Manager, is responsible for the day to day operational management of the business and Helen Bidwell, who as Customer Services Manager, is responsible for the onsite retail business, as well as High Lodge’s Shooting and Golf Clubs.

From its humble beginnings in 1992 when High Lodge employed one full time member of staff, it has grown to a multi-million pound facility currently employing sixteen full time employees.
Ongoing investment is a crucial element to High Lodge retaining its status as one of the top facilities of it’s type in the UK
The most recent investment of £350,000.00 in a new purpose built conference centre, one of Suffolk’s largest facilities, has added an additional 3,500 square feet of space specifically aimed at the corporate hospitality & conference market as well as the general public functions market.

The new facility will more than double the current seating capacity for guests to 200 and will comfortably hold up to 350 conference delegates.
The facilities can offer the perfect venue for corporate events ranging from team building, training & development, promotions, conferences and PR activities. Alternatively the wonderful High Lodge setting can turn any private function, especially a wedding into a memorable event.
In addition to its high-class facilities for Hospitality & Conference events, Weddings, Banqueting and other functions, High Lodge also offers Clay Target Shooting, Golf, Fishing, Holiday Lodges, Restaurant Services and a Retail Shop that caters for Shooters & Golfers.
High Lodge also offers full access for the disabled and has parking spaces for up to 1200 vehicles, including off roaders.
There is no doubt that a day in the fresh air stimulates a healthy appetite, consequently High Lodge has also invested significantly in its onsite catering facilities. Summer barbecues, buffets or traditional English menus of hot and cold foods are available throughout the year using fresh locally produced food.
High Lodge continues to grow and develop as a sporting, leisure and hospitality venue with long term investments planned to further develop the holiday lodge site and add more state of the art conference facilities.
